Terms of Service (Summary) 

Effective Date: February 2026 

By booking CareKnight services, you agree to the following terms: 

Scope of Service 

  • CareKnight provides medical chaperone and logistical support services. 
  • We are not emergency medical responders, nurses, or doctors. 
  • We do not prescribe, diagnose, or administer medical treatments. 
  • Services are for planned appointments, surgeries, and diagnostics—not ICU or critical care situations. 

Client Responsibilities 

  • Provide accurate appointment and medical history information 
  • Transfer pre-paid float (for medicine/test expenses) before the visit 
  • Inform us of any mobility, cognitive, or behavioral challenges the patient may have 
  • Ensure the patient or their legal guardian consents to our accompaniment 

Cancellation & Refund Policy 

  • 24+ hours notice: Full refund or free reschedule 
  • 12–24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee 
  • Less than 12 hours or no-show: No refund (staff assignment and preparation costs incurred) 

Limitation of Liability 

CareKnight is not liable for: 

  • Medical outcomes or complications arising from treatment by healthcare providers 
  • Delays caused by hospitals, clinics, or traffic beyond our control 
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings not entrusted to our staff 
  • Emergency situations requiring paramedic or critical care intervention
